An 11-year-old orphan from Benue State, identified as Linda Emberga*, has allegedly been subjected to horrific abuse by her elder sister’s husband — all over an accusation of stealing the sum of *N1,000.
The disturbing incident came to public attention after a concerned Benue resident, Michelle Ak…, raised the alarm, bringing Linda’s painful ordeal into the spotlight and igniting fury across social media.
A Child Left Vulnerable
Linda, who has already suffered the devastating loss of both parents, was reportedly living under the care of her elder sister and her husband at the time of the incident. Rather than finding comfort and safety in a family home, the young girl allegedly found herself at the mercy of a man who took it upon himself to dish out what can only be described as a brutal punishment — over an accusation that has not even been proven.
