A 32-year-old man from Jhansi, in India’s Uttar Pradesh state, is currently nursing serious injuries after he decided to jump from a nearly 30-foot-high boundary wall at Pahuj Dam — all in the name of filming an Instagram reel.
Yes, you read that correctly. Thirty feet. For a reel.
What Happened?
The young man, apparently hungry for that sweet social media validation, climbed up the tall boundary wall at the dam and leaped off — presumably expecting to land like an action movie hero while his camera rolled.
Instead, the stunt went horribly wrong. He crash-landed badly, breaking both legs in the process. The injuries were described as serious, and the man had to be rushed to receive medical attention immediately after the incident.
A video of the stunt — and its painful aftermath — has been circulating online.

This man is 32 years old — not a small pikin. He is at an age where many of us are building careers, starting families, and chasing real, tangible dreams. Yet the pull of internet fame led him to jump off a 30-foot wall like the ground below was made of foam.

The painful irony is that the only reason the video is now going viral is because of the accident itself. Nobody would have been talking about a regular jump video. It is the tragedy that made it trend.
