A young boy, Success Ezenwafor, is yet to be found after a devastating flood swept through communities in Anambra State, leaving families in anguish and entire neighbourhoods submerged.

A schoolboy identified as Success Ezenwafor* has been declared missing following a terrifying flood incident that wreaked havoc across several communities in the state. In what can only be described as a race against time, operatives of the Anambra State Police Command swooped in to rescue *seven schoolchildren and two adults who were caught in the dangerous floodwaters.
What Happened?
The incident, which has thrown the affected communities into mourning and panic, saw floodwaters rise rapidly and engulf homes, streets, and schools without much warning. Young Success, like many children his age, was simply going about his day when the floods struck — and he has not been seen since.

Climate change, poor drainage infrastructure, and the annual release of water from the Lagdo Dam in Cameroon have continued to make flooding a seasonal nightmare for millions of Nigerians living in low-lying areas.
