Tragedy struck the Aloghom community in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State as three young herders lost their lives in a deadly attack, leaving families and residents devastated.
The victims, all teenagers, have since been laid to rest amid widespread grief and mourning across the Mangu community. The three young men were identified as Garzali Shaibu, 18, and two others whose families are now left to pick up the pieces of an unimaginable loss.
A Community in Mourning
The Aloghom area of Mangu LGA, like many communities across Plateau State, knows all too well the pain that comes with such senseless violence. These were not soldiers or combatants — they were young boys, barely stepping into adulthood, going about their daily lives tending livestock when tragedy cut them down.
