Security forces attached to Operation HADIN KAI have apprehended a suspected informant working for the dreaded ISWAP terrorist group after locals raised the alarm over his suspicious movements in a Hong Local Government Area community in Adamawa State.
The Joint Task Force North-East, under the umbrella of Operation HADIN KAI, made the arrest after vigilant community members noticed something was not right about the individual’s activities in the area. True to the saying that “when the community speaks, criminals have nowhere to hide,” residents wasted no time alerting security personnel — and their quick thinking paid off.
According to reports, the suspect attempted to bolt from the community the moment he sensed that eyes were on him, but troops moved swiftly and cut off his escape route before he could disappear into thin air.
