Speaking with Linda Ikeji’s Blog (LIB), the Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, SP Adebisi Abimbola, confirmed the incident and assured residents that security operatives have taken full control of the situation.
“The area is calm now, the Area Commander and DPO Ilemba Hausa are on top of the situation. Normalcy has been restored and our operatives are fully on ground to monitor,” SP Abimbola stated.
Continuous Monitoring
The police spokesperson emphasized that law enforcement officers remain stationed in the community to prevent any recurrence of violence and maintain the fragile peace that has been restored.
The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ilemba Hausa, alongside the Area Commander, are personally overseeing security operations in the affected area to ensure residents can go about their daily activities without fear.
