A 26-year-old Nigerian man from Dagenham has been found guilty as part of a massive drug smuggling operation that attempted to flood the United Kingdom with cannabis worth a staggering £13.8 million.
Gideon Olumoyegun, who hails from Dagenham in East London, was convicted alongside 10 other drug couriers after authorities uncovered the large-scale plot to smuggle cannabis into the UK. He is set to be sentenced next month.
