Senate President Godswill Akpabio has come out swinging in defence of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, declaring boldly that when Tinubu stepped into Aso Rock in May 2023, he inherited nothing short of an economic disaster — but has since been working hard to turn things around.

Akpabio, never one to shy away from the microphone, made it clear that the All Progressives Congress (APC) government has racked up enough achievements to walk chest-out into the 2027 general elections and face Nigerians squarely.
