The Tudun Bicci community in Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State is currently reeling from grief after yet another devastating bandit attack claimed the lives of two forest guards, two local residents, and left a soldier missing.
The attack, which has sent shockwaves across the state, is the latest in a troubling string of violent incursions that have continued to plague communities across Nigeria’s North-West region.

According to the Chairman of Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area, the armed bandits stormed Tudun Bicci with deadly force, overwhelming the security presence in the area. Two forest guards — men who had dedicated themselves to protecting the region’s natural resources — paid the ultimate price. Two local civilians also lost their lives in the onslaught.
